Six Main Printing and Embroidery Techniques

The same artwork can yield very different results across techniques. We lay out the key points and best-use cases for each.

Screen Printing

Screen Printing

Screen Printing

The most common bulk technique, with high color saturation and cost spread across volume. Ideal for large color-block graphics and logos; for dark bases we recommend laying down a white under-base first.

Embroidery

Embroidery

Embroidery

The technique with the strongest texture and highest durability. Ideal for small chest logos, sleeve badges and cap brims; 3D puff embroidery needs a foam backing for a fuller look.

DTG (Direct-to-Garment) Printing

DTG Printing

DTG (Direct-to-Garment) Printing

No screen setup required; ideal for small runs and mixed designs. Rich color depth delivers gradients and photo-quality results, though dark fabrics need pre-treatment.

Heat Transfer / Cut Vinyl

Heat Transfer

Heat Transfer / Cut Vinyl

Excellent detail reproduction; supports multi-color gradients plus special effects like reflective and laser finishes. Ideal for sportswear, numbers, and fine-line slogans.

Silicone / Puff Printing

Silicone & Puff

Silicone / Puff Printing

Raised, three-dimensional surface. Silicone feels soft and durable; puff printing gives a strong expanded effect. Commonly used for streetwear logos and lettering.

Dye Sublimation

Dye Sublimation

Dye Sublimation

Dye penetrates the fiber for breathable, glue-free prints with vivid, lasting color — ideal for full-coverage all-over prints. Polyester and other synthetics only.

Sampling & Validation

Every design is sampled before production

Confirm color code, placement, size, and hand-feel at the sampling stage to avoid rework on bulk orders.

Craft Assessment

After receiving your artwork, we assess fabric compatibility, minimum line width, and number of colors.

Sample Making

Sample with the same fabric and process as bulk, marking color code and placement.

Client Confirmation

Confirm hand-feel, color and actual measurements; re-sample if needed.

Sealed Sample to Production

The sealed sample travels with the bulk order; the line inspects each batch against the sealed standard.
